IGNITOR brings together ingredients that work synergistically to optimise mental and physical functions to provide the best performance boost for your workouts. Each ingredient has been properly dosed in the product and provides all key elements for a great workout: great muscle pumps, crash-free energy, no jitters, greater workout endurance and support for thermogenesis (fat burning).
Citrulline Malate raises the levels of Arginine in the body. Arginine is essential for your body to produce the blood flow booster Nitric Oxide. Improved blood flow provides a muscle pump effect which not only is awesome feeling but is also highly anabolic as nutrient delivery to muscles is also enhanced. Taking Citrulline is the best way to raise Arginine levels (it is better than taking Arginine itself as the latter is degraded easily). Our use of Citrulline gives us the edge over Arginine-based preworkouts.
Beta-Alanine when taken as a daily supplement at about 5-6g a day helps boost Carnosine levels in the body. Carnosine neutralises excess acidity produced during intense training, which helps support performance. The Beta-Alanine in IGNITOR contributes towards this intake. Beta-Alanine also gives a prickling sensation on your skin which, in synergy with caffeine, gives an awesome psychological boost!
Betaine is known as an osmolyte. Betaine moves in and out of cells when needed and in doing so it attracts water to maintain the hydration status of the cell at an optimal level and keep it resilient during stressful times, a bit like what Creatine does.
Caffeine is the undisputed workhorse in this formulation. Caffeine has well-known effects on mental energy, alertness, endurance and focus. We use a dose of 300mg per serving from a pure source to deliver an optimal dosage. However, caffeine isn’t for everybody. If you are sensitive to it and have any cardiovascular issues, IGNITOR isn’t for you.
L-Theanine is an amino acids naturally found in tea leaves. L-Theanine is what gives tea its well-known relaxing and calming effects. But why would we use this in a preworkout? The trick here is that when L-Theanine is taken alongside caffeine, its relaxing effects helps to maintain the focus and energy boost of caffeine for longer. At the same time, L-Theanine mitigates the “jittery” side effects that come with taking caffeine by itself. This caffeine-Theanine synergy is well documented in research studies.
L-Tyrosine is an amino acid that serves as precursor for the manufacture of brain chemicals namely Dopamine and adrenaline. Tyrosine also helps with the production of the Thyroid hormone Thyroxine and is thus involved in metabolic regulation. Tyrosine intake helps improve the body’s preparedness to stressful situations like during intense physical activity.
Taurine is an abundant amino acid in skeletal muscle and is involved in muscle cell hydration. Taurine also exerts protective effects by means of its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. Taurine is also synergistic with caffeine as it moderates the stimulatory effects of caffeine, leading to a more stable energy level.
Creatine is proven to increase lean muscle mass, maximal strength, power, and muscular endurance. The monohydrate form is the most cost-effective form of creatine. We have included Creatine in our formulation before pre- or post-workout intake are ideal times for best creatine absorption.
These B-Vitamins are important nutrients that act as co-factors in energy-releasing processes and assist with the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Maltodextrin is a carbohydrate powder which helps keep the Preworkout free-flowing. Preworkout ingredients are prone to form lumps. The amount of Maltodextrin we have used (5g) contributes about 20 calories per serving and that’s why we didn’t come up with any fancy name for it in our product (e.g. “Glycopower Matrix”)
Ignitor is flavoured with artificial and nature-identical flavours sourced from reputed flavour houses locally and overseas. Our flavours make our products taste awesome!
Sucralose is an artificial sweetener with the best safety rating among all other sweeteners. Also, it is the best-tasting of the lot and does not leave any of that terrible after-taste that comes with other sweeteners. We steered clear of cyclamates, Acesulfame-K and Aspartame and brought you the best artificial sweetener.
Silica is a safe food-grade additive that keeps the powder from clumping. Preworkout ingredients tend to absorb moisture, especially those that are properly-dosed in Citrulline like ours. To further help keep moisture away, we have packed the powder in resealable bags inside the container and added a desiccant sachet.
We selected plant-based colourants like beetroot powder and beta carotene. Artificial colours like Allura Red, Sunset Yellow and Tartrazine are certainly cheaper and easier to work with and that’s why they are common in preworkouts. However, we always choose healthier options.
